I have some doubts about FlexOdbc and I will appreciate if Someone could help me. 1 - Can I use FlexOdbc on thin client enviroment (X11, Citrix ICA ou Microsoft RDP)? 2 - How about license in these cases? |

FlexODBC is designed to be run either on workstations or servers on the system console (local console). Windows Terminal Server, X11, Citrix ICA ou Microsoft RDP essentially try to create multiple virtual workstations on the one server (computer). To use FlexODBC with multiple users on a Terminal Server or Citrix Server requires a System DSN to be setup.
Because FlexODBC v4 is not user counted, only one license seat is required for the server. |
