After activating the product, I cannot get the remote connector to work.  It is running on the remote machine.  It is running on the main machine (the machine that is activated)...the remote connector is configured to talk to the remote machine properly (correct IP, etc)....however, when I try to test the connection....it pops up the user/password box asking me to login...even if I disable the security/password on both remote connectors.  Do both machines have to be activated?

It is imperitive I get this running as soon as possible.

Thanks for your time,

CS

QODBC needs to be licensed on each computer it's run on. The procedure for using the Remote Connector can be found at: I do not want to install QuickBooks on every machine. How do I setup QODBC Remote?  and you shouldn't be getting logins as they are handled in the QODBC Remote Connector and the iBiz Remote Connector setup.

So I need to buy ANOTHER license just for the remote machine?

Yes, QODBC needs to be licensed on every computer it's run on.

I've reconfigured the network so that QODBC will run locally now.  I'm going to uninstall QODBC on the other machine...unfortunately that is the machine already activated.  How do I go about deactivating and activating the other machine?

See: How do I deactivate QODBC? How do I transfer my license to my new computer?
