We are running the qb database server manager & multiple qb clients. I installed the remote connector & qodbc onto the 'HOST' computer where the qb files are hosted & the qb database server manager are running. I configured the security etc.  Next I installed qodbc onto my pc & setup the correct ip address to connect to the remote connector.  Each time I try & connect I get the login dialog asking for a password even though the username/password are correct. I tried calling for help but was refused all help as I am trying to evaluate your product.

I am currently stuck & cant evaluate anything. It appears that I have to purchase the product in order to evaluate it, is this true?

Is there any way to use qodbc on my pc to access the qb data?

Is there an sql version of qb so I can simply access what I need from the sql server whithout all this song & dance?

I am currently frustrated beyond belief & will reject your product as a solution if no asnwer is provided.

QuickBooks must be installed and running on the 'HOST' server, not just the qb database server manager. QODBC talks to directly QuickBooks which then talks to the qb database server manager. You will need to first get QODBC working without the remote connector as in: How do I connect to QuickBooks for the first time?  and then you can move onto to doing the: I do not want to install QuickBooks on every machine. How do I setup QODBC Remote? setup.
