I am having a problem to access the database via FlexODBC V4.00.24 and keep receiving the following error log in the event viewer. Can anyone explain what the system error 998 is? What's the solution? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. Cannot connect to ODBC data source "aes" Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 998 (DataFlex Driver)...
System info:
(Server is Win2003 R2 X64, Memory 6G Total, used abt 3G, ODBC is in System DSN)

However, I believe I have latest driver installed. Why am I still receiving Error 998?

Ok, didn't know the error can be triggerred by a UNC path. FlexODBC only supports a Mapped Drive dfpath. You will need to map the network server drive. |
