Hi,
We have created a query, that connects to quickbooks and extracts data. It runs fine on our machine. QODBC is used as a linked server with MSDE2000. And Quickbooks used is Enterprise version 8.0. But when we tried the same query on one of our customers it gives the error mentioned below. They are aklso running QOBC as a linked server with MSDE2000 and QB Premier Multicurrency edition Release R21P (Canada).
MSDE Says:
[OLE/DB provider returned message: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed]
[OLE/DB provider returned message: [QODBC] QB Begin Session Failed. Error = 8004041c, An internal QuickBooks error occurred while trying to access the QuickBooks company data file.
]
OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'MSDASQL' IDBInitialize::Initialize returned 0x80004005: ].
Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 3
OLE DB provider 'MSDASQL' reported an error.
QBSDKLOG says:

We followed the recommendations and received the following error message.

Please contact your dealer for the latest version]
