Yes, you should always check how tax (in your case PST and GST) is handled in the transactions you are working with. QODBC v9 has new columns for tax and old ones have not been deleted but are now empty. The main changes between QODBC v8 and v9 are shown in: Release 9.0.0.249 Fixes

See: Release 9.0.0.251 Fixes (Release Candidate)

thanks tom. Im using the latest QODBC Version 9.0.0.250 with QB pro 2008 CAN. which works fine.  Arey ou saying that things like SalestaxcodeReffullname etc. have changed?.  I only need to use the GST not PST.  During insert of invoices It pulls the code form Tax item List and I do not need to manipulate anything with taxes throught the code.

You responded 'Yes'. Is that y'Yes' to compatability or that I do need to change things around to make it coompatible?

You should always check that your programs continue to work correctly between major releases of QODBC as QODBC will often use a different version of Intuit's qbXML SDK (that comes in the new version of QuickBooks). As a whole we try our best to make everything still work as before, but it's your program.
