Hi,
I have been able to access quickbooks held on another pc in the building for the last few months with no issues.
However in the last day i have been getting the following error on the Ibiz logging screen.
Connection refused: Basic YWRtaW46dm9sdm81OQ==
Anyone seen this before??
Thanks

No, did someone change a firewall setting or something? |

I dont think so.
I am also getting this error
[12/6/2006 10:45:36 AM - 192.xx. xx..xx] Error: 851: Unable to find the QuickBooks Request Processor on your system. Please make sure that QuickBooks 2002 Pro or higher is installed on your system. (Error: 0x800736b1).
A couple of weeks ago i was trying to do away with the Ibiz integrated and use the qodbc link on the PC that hosts Quickbooks. I tried to deactivate on my machine and load on the other. However, it still is active on my machine and when i try and enter the key on the Qbs machine i get the error key licence exhausted.
Could that be the issue?
Thanks
Chris

Look at the "About" in the QODBC Setup screen to see the status of QODBC on both computers. QODBC will only run if it is in evaluation mode or licensed. I can't work out whether you still want to use the Remote Connector or not. On the PC that hosts QuickBooks you can use QODBC directly, if you don't have QuickBooks on your machine, you will need to either install QuickBooks or use the Remote Connector.
To setup up the QODBC remote connector (again) see: I do not want to install QuickBooks on every machine. How do I setup QODBC Remote? |
