| A little help about odbc_connection error |

Hi guys,
I'm php developer and I'm making changes to one php section that synchronize the data from one web server on another (windows) server. The problem is is when the php reached the odbc_connect the script generates error:
Could not determine the version of the QuickBooks company data file, or the data file has been modified and requires a newer version of QuickBooks
There weren't any changes on the version or something like that. The same script was working previous year and now it isn't. I'm guessing that the problem is in the connection between the qodbc driver and the data files. Can you please tell me for what I should look at. I know C# but on a basic level |

| The error is a QuickBooks error. You need to open the company file using the QuickBooks User Interface manually and allow it to update the company file format. Also you can't open another country company file version with a different country version of QuickBooks. |

| Can you tell me when the company file is opened from where I should allow the updating of that file. In the file menu there is only update quickbooks. I'm sorry if this is a inappropriate question but I'm not familiar much with this program |
