I originally purchased QODBC Desktop Driver for Quickbooks USA 2006 Read Write on August, 2006. I had it working just fine with QuickBooks 2006. We have recently upgraded to QuickBooks 2007 and installed the company file on a shared folder on our server. In addition, we have installed the QuickBooks "Server Installation" on that server. Now when I try to connect, I get the "QODBC Expired Evaluation" screen. My activation code worked and resulted in an "Activation Successful" screen, but still would not connect. When I repeat the connection attempt, I get the same "QODBC Expired Evaluation" screen.

I uninstalled QODBC v6 and reinstalled it to no avail. I downloaded the new version 7 and that gives me the "QODBC Expired Evaluation" immediately followed by a "Evaluation License has expired".

Does this have something to do with me performing a "Server Installation" of QuickBooks 2007 on the server which hosts my company file?

Thanks

You need to purchase a new copy of QODBC Version 7.0 for QuickBooks 2007 (actually it's a new CD Key), and you will then be eligible to apply for a rebate on the purchase price. Please see: QODBC v7 for QuickBooks 2007 Released for more details.

This is a followup to my previous post. I purchased Version 7.0 of QODBC and it solved my access problems to the 2007 version of QuickBooks. Thanks
