QODBC Settings Not Saving |

The V8 Optimizer takes hours to run. Therefore, I have attempted to fine-tune or disable the Optimizer. However, the settings I apply\save are not retained when exiting the Setup and then returning. How do I retain these settings or configure the Optimizer not to take hours? |

Just make sure you don't have any QODBC connections active and then go into the QODBC Setup Screen and do the setup changes. The dll needs to be unloaded to see the changes when QODBC is run next.
Note: Products like MS Access store the full connection settings when they first connect, so if you change the settings, MS Access will still use the original settings. If this applies to you, you will need to unlink the tables and relink them again to store the new connections settings. |
