The first thing you need to do is to identify the Custom Field you wish to use. In QuickBooks open a customer and click on the Additional Info tab and look at the custom fields you have set up. I will use "Contract #" in my example:
Using VBDemo you can view the custom fields I can use in an invoice by running:
sp_columns InvoiceLine 'CustomField%'
In my example Contract # is the column called CustomFieldContract in QODBC.
TO CREATE THE INVOICE WITH Contract # I DO:
INSERT INTO "InvoiceLine" ("CustomerRefListID", "RefNumber", "InvoiceLineItemRefListID", "InvoiceLineDesc", "InvoiceLineRate", "InvoiceLineAmount", "InvoiceLineSalesTaxCodeRefListID", "FQSaveToCache", "CustomFieldContract") VALUES ('AC0000-1197757899', 'Custom 1', '250000-933272656', 'Bin Permit Renovations', 200.00000, 200.00, '20000-999022286', 0, '1234-5678')
