Hi Tom,
I am creating price level lists using your driver, acess, and a excel spread sheet. I create a linked file to the table and append the excel file to it. I first imported 200 prices in about 5 minutes each. I then tried 1500 and it quit over the weekend (yes over 24 hours) about 200 from the end saying ODBC- insert on linked table pricelevelperitem faild QDBC error parsing complete XML returned string (#10052). I then tried importing the last two hundred, the first time I tried quickbooks said the certificate is invalid. I reconncted using vb demo and noticed the company preferences has Flexquarters QODBC their 3 times? The second time the(200) records are still going in after 6 hours. Is the driver corupt and needs a re install? Did I chock it with two many records? Maybe 500 at a time? Please help It all seemed to work great at first.
Regards,
Mark |

Sooo it is working. Thank You Quickbooks again. I assume that those batch commands work only in VB Demo. Does or has anyone know how to use a excel list to update the pricelevellist table using VB Demo? If not I found I have to change the data in my new list already, would it be quicker to delete the list first in Quickbooks or since the list is there already would maybe adding a table of the data in access and create and run an update query would be faster. Any idea? |

No the batch commands can be executed just like any other regular SQL statement. They are valid stored procedures. To update the PriceLevels see: PriceLevelPerItem Updates & Inserts |
