Hi, I try to use "VB Demo" to run this sql statement:
insert into TaxCode(Name,Desc,Tax1Rate,Tax2Rate) values('A','All Taxable Goods','6.0','0.0')
it said,
[QODBC] Expected lexical element not found:<identifier>
what's the problem?
Thanks!

Desc is short for the SQL reserved word DESCENDING. You need put double quotes around "Desc" like this:
insert into TaxCode(Name,"Desc",Tax1Rate,Tax2Rate) values('A','All Taxable Goods',6.0, 0.0) |
