Runs fine on xp -

Followed the install and setup for vista and the connection is made; However, all seems to run in slow motion (query/data sheet) and then "ODBC - call failed" with #Name...

Both QuickBooks and the application accessing QODBC (MS Access 2000 in your case) must be run with standard user permissions (NOT elevated to run as administrator). The Vista user's account must have its User Account Control (UAC) set to On.
