I followed the instructions at:

http://www.qodbc.com/QODBCweb.htm

to download and install the demo for the QODBC server edition.

I can run TestDCOM.asp - which shows me that DCOM is configured properly.

When I go to the QODBC Setup Screen and click the

Test Connect button on General tab - I get the following error:

---------------------------
QODBC Test Connection
---------------------------
Test Connection to QuickBooks Failed

[QODBC] QB Begin Session Failed. Error = 80040421, The specified user is already logged in on another machine.

Thoughts?

Thanks for your time,

CS

The message indicates that the "ADMIN" user is already logged into QuickBooks on another machine or Terminal Services session.

I'm still getting this error message after admin is not logged into QuickBooks. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Thanks,

I suggest you test your DSN connections using VB Demo with all other QuickBooks users logged out of QuickBooks. See: How do I connect to QuickBooks for the first time? for more.
