Error Calling OpenQBConnection Returned Error 151 |

Just upgraded from the demo version to the read only version and I found out I have to use the IBiz connection rather than the DCOM with SQL Server.
Anyway, trying to test the connection I get the connection error 151 after I put the same user name and password in three times.
What am I doing wrong. |

Yes, the user name and password are the same as QB, but I still am getting the same error. I look in the trace files and it is showing that authorization is required. |

Use VB Demo (not SQL Server) to establish a connection to the company file directly with QODBC first (without the remote connector). QuickBooks must be running and the company file open. You then setup unattended mode and then the remote connector if you can connect to the company file without QuickBooks running. It may be easier to uncheck the "Require Authentication" box in the iBiz Security folder. |
