Hello,

I am trying to insert jobs under a customer. The query is below.

INSERT INTO Customer (Name,ParentRefListID,Companyname,FirstName,LastName,contact,phone,fax,altphone,altcontact,Email,billaddressaddr1,
billaddresscity,billaddressstate,billaddresspostalcode,billaddresscountry,shipaddressaddr1,shipaddresscity,shipaddressstate,
shipaddresspostalcode,shipaddresscountry,isactive,jobstartdate,jobenddate,jobdesc) VALUES
('job2','3B0000-1180957314','Apex Inc','David','Flaga','David' ,'9830098300','','' ,'','','','','','' ,'','','',
'','','' ,1,'2007-06-18','2007-06-18','')

I am getting this error constantly. [QODBC] Invalid operand for operator: <assignment>.

There is not much help regarding this error. Please help

Thanks in advance.

Try changing the dates from '2007-06-18' to {d '2007-06-18'}

Date and time stamps use this format:
SELECT * from Invoice WHERE Txndate >= {d '2005-09-23'}

Use this format for Microsoft Access queries:
SELECT * from Invoice WHERE Txndate >= #9/23/2005#

The Access format may vary based on the setting for your default date format for your region in your Windows control panel.

Each job or task has its own CustomerRefListID. See: Adding Customer - Job

Thanks! it worked. Also i am unable to run the QODBC setup from my msi. I am using microsoft VS installer to create my setup. I created a merge module for QODBC and included in my main setup. But the main setup is simple putting the QODBC setup in the application folder without invoking it. Any help regarding this would be highly appreciated.
