I bought read/write QODBC v7 some time ago. I used it to get data from QuickBooks into SQL Server for some analization.

Now I decided to use QODBC in my VB2005 application. On my development machine the beginner stuff I wrote so far works well. Now I need to test my project on my testing machine. I need to create setup. As I've read on qodbc.com I have to buy lisences (10 lisence pack as web site says and 15 as representative said when I called) for distribution.

It's pretty big money ($600) to pay without being sure that the distribution will work. I'm using InstallShield for creating setup programs.

Does anybody have any experience with distribution? Is there any way to download a trial version of the redistributable version of QODBC driver?

QODBC runs as a 30 day evaluation whereever you install it. So it can be tested exactly as you need it to be tested first before you need to buy any CD Keys. See: Quiet install and selecting Region for more.
