QODBC Remote fails with a blank error message |

Hi --
I followed the instructions at
http://www.qdeveloper.com.au/forum.php?homeinclude=topicdetails&forum_id=1&category_id=2&post_id=48
to set up ODBC remote, but when I test the connection from the remote machine, all I get is a dialog box that reads "Display a list of online errors and their resolutions?". When authentication is turned off, that message comes up right away. When it's turned on, I get the user/password dialog three times (each time typing the user name and password), then the message appears.
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?

Try turning off authentication and check the username and password you are using. The username must be Admin and the password if used in your copy of QuickBooks. This username is the QuickBooks username, not something you make up in setup up the IBiz Remote Connector and the QODBC setup Remote Connector tab. |
