Can I use QODBC with Enterprise Ver 5.0? |

I have been struggling for two hours to get QODBC working. I can connect to the data file with the Edit exe but never any luck with VBDEMO. Must I update QB? If so, what components? |

Tom,
Thanks for the reply, but I am still having trouble after reinstalling QODBC and following the directions you sent the links to. Here is the exact error message I receive when I run VBDEMO:
[QODBC] QB Session Failed. Error = 8004042b, This call is unavailable in this version of QuickBooks.
Any ideas? I would really like to get QODBC working!
Thanks,
Joshua |

Recheck the version of QuickBooks you have in the "About" in QuickBooks and then check your activation status in "My License Information". If the product is not activate, QODBC won't work either. |
