Connect to QB from web application via QODBC? |

We have a client running QB enterprise 6.0. We want to connect to their QB data from a remote, secure web application. We have a demo of QODBC v8.x installed along with an SSL-enabled version of nSoftware's ibiz connector.
I just want to confirm in general that QODBC is a solution that will enable us to read/write from/to QB enterprise from a web app. Is this the case?
I have more specific questions but first I want to make sure we're going down the right road. |

On the other hand, if the web app and server are installed on the client's local QB server....it'll work fine right? |

Yes, but you still need to use the QODBC Server Edition and configure the QODBC DCOMs. |
