Hello

I am creating an application with QODBC and eventually the driver expired.  I then purchased the server edition of QODBC and went through the activation process which resulted in "Activation Successful"

However, when I try connect with the VBDemo app, it brings up the activation screen again as if I have not activated the product.  If I activate again, the driver then reports with the Evaluation Period Expired error message.

I am running Vista.
Do you have any advice?

Thanks
Daryl

Have a look at the QODBC Setup Screen about tab and the Serial Number shown. You will need a Serial that goes .08........... in order for QODBC to work with Quickbooks 2008. If your serial number is .06........... it's good for up to QuickBooks 2006 or if it's .07........... then it's only good for up to QuickBooks 2007. You might need to purchase a QODBC v8 for QuickBooks 2008 CD Key.

Hi Tom
Thanks for your response.

The QODBC product that was bought is: QODBC Server Driver for Quickbooks USA 2008 Read Write
I think I'm connecting to the UK version of QuickBooks.  Would this cause that error message?

If this is the case, how can I 'convert' this QODBC driver to the UK version?  Would I need to get a refund and then purchase the UK version?

Thanks
Daryl

Yes, you would need a Serial that goes S08K........... for QODBC to work with the UK version of QuickBooks. If you have a S08U........... serial number you will need a new CDKey Code.
