| test connection to quickbooks fails with no diagnostics |

installed qodbc 7.00.00.199 with quickbooks premier manufacturing and wholesale 2006/2007 (australian version) on both windows 2003 server and windows xp prof (latest sp and updates, except the quickbooks does not have the latest tax tables). Tried with both the a sample qbw file and our own qbw file.
Installation goes ok, but when hitting the "test connection to quickbooks" a message comes up with only "display an online list of connection errors and their resolutions" - no other information. Accepting yes loads the link http://www.qodbc.com.au/HelpDesk.asp?faq_id=67 which doesn't provide any other information.
any clues
