Hi - I need help ASAP if possible.
I cannot get the Remote Connector to work even locally on the Quickbooks server. I have established the local connecting using the VB Demo tool and granted access. However if I try to use the VB Demo tool and the Connection string "DSN=QuickBooks Production Data;IBizRemoteConnect=Yes;IBIZRemoteURL=http://<ip address>:2080;IBIZRemotePWD=XXXX" it doesn't work. It will prompt for the login 3 times and then fail with error 151 (Authentication Required).
Please help ASAP.

The Connection string:
"DSN=QuickBooks Production Data;IBizRemoteConnect=Yes;IBIZRemoteURL=http://<ipaddress>:2080;IBIZRemotePWD=XXXX"
doesn't have a IP Address or password so it won't work. See I do not want to install QuickBooks on every machine. How do I setup QODBC Remote? for the full instructions on how to setup and use the QODBC Remote Connector.
You also need to have QuickBooks actually installed on the computer, not just the QuickBooks server. |
