Performance tips needed! |

Hello!
I will be running QODBC v8 against QB 06-08. My app is an ADO based app, so the stack looks like this:
My app -> ADO -> ODBC -> QODBC -> QB
My question is:
If QODBC is installed stock, with no config mods at all, what can I do to boost read performance?
I have no idea what is possible here. My ideas include fantasies like:
-install qodbc -run a batch file to build the QODBC cache -Use appropriate keywords on my queries so that certain queries are 'live' to QB (for dynamic data) and certain queries are 'cached' (for static data)
Your thoughts and advice?
Thanks!!!! |
