QuickBooks seems to assume Vehicle Mileage is collected only so the customer can be charged for the expense.
I would like to use the VM tracking capabilty to record IRS business miles used in purchasing and transporting supplies. This information should be associated with and entered from the vendor sales slips at the same time the purchases are recorded.
Since QuickBooks does not support inherited custom fields from the Vendor file I have not been able to figure out a way to achieve this. Do you have a suggestion? |
