We are running a network install of Quickbooks Pro 2008 on our server. We only have the Database Server Manager running. When we install QODBC and try to test Connection, we get the following error:
[QODBC] QB Open Connection Failed. Error = 80040154, Unknown error.
Do we need to run a full version of QB on the server? It works fine from our pc's connecting to the Quickbooks company file. Any help is appreciated. |

QODBC talks to QuickBooks directly thru the Intuit qbXML SDK, so you need to install the full version of QuickBooks (client) on your server to use QODBC. |
