I am attempting to setup the DCOMs, I have followed all of the instructions I believe in getting them installed from these forums but I get this:

    QBXMLRPEQODBCInteractive.exe Error:
    QBXMLRP.dll Success
      QBXMLRP2EQODBCInteractive.exe Error:
      QBXMLRP2.dll Success
XERCES-COM.dll Error: ActiveX component can't create object
Current Logged on User is:
Authenticated user is:

Thanks,

Jon

I have double checked all of this, and made sure of the right version and yet it still does not work.

Where does this leave me now? I have two days left on the trial and I am no closer even to seeing if this will work for my clients needs than I was 28 days ago and i have spent countless hours going through this with no luck.

Thanks,

Jon

"Still does not work" isn't very helpful. We cannot provide support for implementing your company's or client's Windows security and group policy. Please consult your Windows documentation or a Qualified Information Technology Expert for further assistance.

Change DCOM "Identity" tab, to use the Launching user, not the Interactive, that fixed it for me.
