I cannot find any information specific to running your QODBC driver and Quick Books Enterprise Manufacturing 8 on Windows 2003 Terminal Services.
The customer has purchased the $199 ODBC drivers. Is this the one to install on a Terminal Server 2003? Do they need to purchase the Server ODBC drivers? All the install instructions are for QB2006 and are from 2 years ago. Do the instructions still work for QuickBooks 8? |

QODBC is licensed to each computer, not user. So environments like Terminal Server and Citrix require only the server to be licensed. For further information on how you need to use the QODBC Remote Connector in these types of environments see: W2K3 Terminal Server / QB2006 Ent. + QODBC |

I know this is a brain dead question, but I still do not know which ODBC driver is proper for a computer running Terminal Services? The workstation or server? |

There's only one QODBC, which is then licensed as a desktop or server edition. The server edition is for use by Windows Services like IIS, ColdFusion ASP.NET, MS SQL Server etc. In your case you need to use the QODBC Remote Connector which is part of the desktop edition. |
