Vista x64 bit and QODBC |

I followed the install instructions, and the install seems to work. When I try to configure the odbc source, I get the setup routine for qodbc driver could not be found. If I try to connect using vbdemo, I get QB Begin Session Failed. Error = 80040408. If I try to setup a new odbc with the system setup option, the test connection option is grayed out. |

Sorry, but QODBC isn't yet supported on any 64 bit operating systems. |

Please can you indicate when we might expect vista 64 support? It's useful for planning etc.. In particular I'll need functionality for QB 2006 (as I use multiple currencies). |

Sorry, but only USA versions of QuickBooks 2007, 2008 and 2009 and non-USA versions of QuickBooks 2008 (or 2008/09) are supported under Vista. So even it we fix the QODBC installer for 64 bit operation, QuickBooks 2006 will not be supported and only QuickBooks versions using Intuit's qbXML 6.1 or higher will.
There's currectly no project underway to support any 64 bit O/S. |
