Using the Trial version, I'm trying to export the Quickbooks database to MS Access. Twice I have tried to export the Invoice table and both times the computer, after processing for a period of time, powers off. There is no graceful shutdown, just turns off. This problem is not seen outside of performing this activity. What information can I provide you that would be helpful?

Thanks,
Brent.

Sorry, QODBC doesn't turn off computers. If your POWER OPTIONS are set to hibernate, then it's possible a long export is seen as computer inactivity and your computer will automatically shutdown. Simply increase your System Hibernate period.

While I understand the functionality isn't intended, the computer runs all day, unattended for longer periods of time than the export that I'm running and it doesn't turn off. Is there any way to enable debugging information to develop a better understanding of the problem? The only issue will be that any cached log entries may be lost.

See: How do I turn on the trace log?
