I have a evaluation version of FlexODBC, I found out that it can run within Visual Studio ASP.net development server but not within IIS, is that because of the limitation of evaluation version Or is that becuase of the security Setting? |

I've tried giving IUser_, ASPNET, INTERACTIVE users full control to the flexodbc folder but it's still not working for me until I give Everyone read/write permission to the folder. I'm using .net 2.0, could that be different than ASP pages requirement? My other question is if I have data folder somewhere else, should I give these users read/write permission to data folder also or just FlexODBC folder is enough? |

The security of a .NET application will depend on the user or should I say the system account the application will run under. Normally the data folder will already have EVERYONE access rights. How you set up your security is up to you. |
