We have imported records into the the various Item tables in QuickBooks using Access.  (the original source data came from an Excel workbook sheet thate was imported into Access as a table to be the source for our insert query)

Even thoug the source data from Acccess appeas to have two decimal places in the SalesPrice and PurchaseCost fields to be imported the display of the Item list in the QB GUI shows those values with any trailing zeros truncated (i.e. $1.00 displays as $1, $1.20 displays as $1.2, etc.).

It seems that without doing a import into a QB data file the display of these values appears correctly when items are created manually in the QB user interface; however, if an import has been done then even when a new item is created manually its values are displayed like the imported items (trailing zeros truncated).

We have tried to do updates to these values after the initial import to see if we could properly set the display, but this does not change anything.

Sorry, but I haven't seen this problem using QODBC, see: How do I add a Inventory Item using QODBC?
