Does anyone know if QODBC will work for posting from Filemaker to QuickBooks?
I have successfully pulled the data into Filemaker using the QODBC read/write trial, but when I try going the other way, it starts to work ( but stops and I get the message "ODBC Error: [QODBC] Not supported".

The "Not Supported" error occurs when you try to insert into a read only table like the Item, Entity or Sales table or when you try to insert into a transaction header table without doing inserts into the transaction line table first. Please search the forum for example SQL statements for type of insert you are trying to do.
PS: All tables also have read only columns reserved for QuickBooks use only. See: Where are the schema rules for using QODBC? How do I use sp_columns? for more. |
