Hi --

I'm trying to run a Business Objects Web Intelligence query against my QuickBooks server using QODBC.  I can connect to QB using the Business Objects designer without issue, and can run a query against QB using the VB Demo without issue, but when I try to run a Business Objects Web Intelligence query against QB I get the following error:

Database error: [QODBC] QB Begin Session Failed. Error = 80040403, Could not open the specified QuickBooks company data file.

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Thanks --
Syrah

The error is saying the company file can't be opened, prehaps the path on the server is different to the path from the designer?

Business Objects Web Intelligence queries are run as a Windows Service, meaning the you need to setup the Server Edition of QODBC or you will need to use the QODBC Remote Connector.

See: How can I see QuickBooks data in a Internet Explorer Browser using Windows XP?  and I do not want to install QuickBooks on every machine. How do I setup QODBC Remote? for more information on both of these options.
