Killing (aborting) open connections / calls |

we have a web app that has validation checks that query our QB file, that are run via AJAX.. so when a user opens a record, it does 5 checks, each reading data (no writing). Is there some sort of call, command, sproc or anything that kills any open connections or calls ?
If so how do we do this... ? |

No, there's no way to abort a query that's already in progress. In your example, queries need to be always limited to small return sets by using a WHERE clause and TOP, for example:
Select * Top 10 from Invoice where CustomerRefFullName='QDeveloper Forum' |
