Hello, I'm using the remote connector to connect between two servers. If there is ever an error with any part of the request, all PHP processes stop responding. The test VB app continues working, it requires an IISreset in order to get PHP going again. What would be nice is if the odbc query would return an error code as opposed to halting all operations.

Is there something I'm missing? As it is now, it's virtually unusable in this environment because any slip anywhere (including the company file not being open) causes the entire intranet to stop working (since PHP stops responding).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Sorry, the QODBC Remote Connector and iBiz Remote Connector are mean't to used by desktop applications and not a application running as a service or through a service. At best the remote connector can be used on the same (local) server instead of buying the QODBC Server Edition. The proper way of doing this configuration is to have the QODBC Server Edition, the QDOBC DCOMs and QucikBooks on the web server with the remote company file mapped as a drive via VPN.
