Hi,

I'm evaluating QODBC for POS. I linked all of the QuickBooks POS V. 6 tables into a new Access database. I tried doing what I thought would be a quick and simple task - to add a new department to the Departments table. It failed, returning an error "Field Not Allowed in Insert . (#10046) Error".

Is this to do with the evaluation copy of QODBC for POS or is it more complicated?

Thanks!

Tom

In every table there are reserved "Read-only"  columns used by QuickBooks only. See: Where are the schema rules for using QODBC? How do I use sp_columns?
