I'm getting the following error when I try to access QuickBooks via the web using the QOBC driver,

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[QODBC] QB Open Connection Failed. Create DCOM Instance Error = 80070005, Unknown error.. Created qbXMLRP2 OK.

I'm running IIS on an XP workstation.  I can connect to quickbooks fine using the test button on the utility, the VB utility that comes with the driver, and Access.  It's only a problem when using ASP via IIS.

I've got an instance of QB running with the admin account logged in too.

The error indicates that the QODBC DCOM Servers have not been setup correctly.

Please see:

How can I see QuickBooks data in a Internet Explorer Browser using Windows XP?

and

How do I manually setup the QODBC DCOM Servers on Windows XP Pro and Windows 2003 Server?

for further information on how to setup QODBC to work with IIS on Windows XP Professional.

Note: Don't forget you will need to reboot your computer to get the DCOM Servers going after you change the security permissions.
