hello obviously from topic I am a newbie

I have developed a dbase in Access for a client, and would lke to take to the next step.  Currently I create a report out  of access lists the customer, and inventory item code and qty for entry into quickbooks.

I am hoping with QODBC driver on quickbook computer and QODBC driver on laptop running Access dbase I can automatically import the invoice information into quickbooks.  I have read a number of forum questions about linking tables with ODBC ( I am familiar with this) or creating module to link, and creating sales order then sales orders to Invoices, all seem much more complicated then I would have expected.

Maybe I am being to simplistic here but can I not create an update query in Access to bring the customer name, inventory code into quickbooks and then from quickbooks open the invoice and  print it email it to the customer

Advise or suggesitons on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
