| Need to Delete many items both inventory and non-inventory |

I need to delete many (800+) items from the inventory of our QB-Pro 2004 data file. I use Vis. Foxpro v6.0 to connect using QODBC v7. When I try some manual SQL statements to Delete or even to Delete and Insert, the result set looks good in Vis Foxpro but when I close that and go into QB I still see the original record.
Please help. We are trying to clean things up before June 29 Inventory! |

To delete a stock part you run for example:
Delete From ItemInventory where Name = 'Acer Notebook'
but QuickBooks rules apply, you can't delete parts that are already in use:
Once the "not already in use" parts have been deleted you will need to resync the optimized table by running:
sp_optimizefullsync ItemInventory

Tom, How can I delete the transactions that are associated with the inventory items I want to delete? Also, do the functions sp_????? work in Visual Foxpro to your knowledge?
