I'm running QB Premier Contractor 2006 and Access 2003 in a Win200 SP-4 environment. I purchased, Installed and registered QODBC v. 8.00.00240 which I had downloaded from your website. I followed the "first time connect" instructions from your website and ran the SELECT query from VBDemo. When I tried to re-connect to QB from VBDemo I got error "80040416" which requires that when QB is not running that the Company File name must be supplied. I reviewed the FAQ and even tried to run the "registerall.vbs" program which produced a long sequence of errors. I even went into the QODBC setup screen and used the settings you suggest in this website, but to no avail. Am I missing something? I have scowered your FAQ and seem to have followed all your procedures to a "T".
Please help me.
