I just upgraded to QuickBooks 2008 Premier from QuickBooks 2004 Pro.  I also upgraded QODBC from ver 7 to ver 8.  I am having a problem running a query to the item table.  If I do Select * from Item within the VB Demo program it crashes and closes.

Hence my SQL string in VBA also bombs:

oRecordset4.Open "SELECT ListID, Name FROM Item WHERE Name = '" & Item & "'", oConnection, adOpenStatic, adLockOptimistic

Can someone shed some light.  When I run the Table query inside VB Demo I see the Item table listed.

Did you purchase a new QODBC CD Key for QuickBooks 2008?
