Is it possible to throw a trigger with SQL when a Quickbooks user makes an update/insert? My understanding of SQL ends at the instance itself. I'm thinking the answer is no, but if there is a (elegant) workaround without needing to get into QBs SDK let me know. Thanks, Tim W. |

No, that isn't how the Intuit qbXML SDK works. So QODBC is unable to do it also. Intuit have a different interface that allows you to monitor everything that is happening in QuickBooks and setup triggers, but that's beyond the scope of this forum. Contact Intuit directly for more details. |

Ahh, so the QODBC simply uses qbXML to interact. I was hoping it was a little lower level. Still an awesome product. Thanks! |
