| Only Granting Read Only Access |

I can't get this computer to grant write access to my billing app. When I remove the Flex quarters references in Integrated Applications, under Quickbooks preferences: I run the test connection to Quickbooks button in the qodbc configurator and the Grant pop up comes up in quickbooks; This pop up makes no mention of read only access. When I try to write to the same quickbooks using the application Im designing, the same pop up appears, only it states that read only access will be granted. How do I get my application to request full read/ write access? This works fine on another computer with the same app and identical setup. |

The free version of QODBC that comes with QuickBooks Enterprise 2006 and 2007 (USA Editions only) is hard coded as required by Intuit to force the intergrated application (FLEXquarters QODBC) to be read-only in the company file. So if you use the free version with the company file, it will be forced read-only.
To write to QuickBooks requires that you have installed the full version of QODBC and purchased and activated a read/write license CD Key. |
