I want to run a income statement report (ProfitAndLossStandard) for the most recent month for which the books are closed.  Generally, that is MonthNum(Today()) - 2 if today's date is in the first two weeks of the month, and MonthNum(Today()) - 1 if we are in the last two weeks.

1) Is there an easy way to do this in Excel using QODBC?
2) Assuming no to #1, what is the definition of LastMonth in DateMacro?  Is it the complete month preceeding this one - i.e. if today's date is 10/1/2008, then LastMonth is 9/1 - 9/30?

Thanks.

LastMonth is the previous month to the current QuickBooks month based on the current QuickBooks system date.

See: How do I run a Profit & Loss Standard Report? for more.
