I just downloaded and installed the server read/write QODBC, and i can't seem to get it to work. I am using SQL 2005 to try to connect to QB, and i can set up a linked server just fine, but when i try to pull data from it i get this error: "Create DCOM instance error = 80070005, Unknown error". Any help would be appreciated. |

Hello Tom,
I have run through everything i could find on this issue including the linked page that you gave me. Everything seems to work fine, but when i try to use any of the test queries, or my own i get this error "QB Open Connection Failed. Create DCOM Instance Error = 80070005, Unknown error... Created qbXMLRP2 OK." And when i run the "test DCOM script" i get "Access is Denied" on both of the "Interactive.RequestProcessor". Where do i go from here?

Ok, i've run through everything on the new link. All of the users are set up and everything, and i restarted the server... But it didn't fix it. I'm sure there is something simple that i'm doing wrong... I'm getting the same errors that i was before. Is there anything else that i can run to find what's wrong?
