update of Check table |

I have a client who needs to change the check number on about 1000 checks because they are off by one number. I tried running an update query using QODBC linked with Access to update the RefNumber field of the Check table, but I get a "Not supported" error. Is there any way to accomplish this without having to rekey over 1000 check numbers?

The Intuit qbXML SDK 5.0 only allows us to Add or Query a Check in QuickBooks 2006. To change the Check Number (RefNumber) you have to be able to modify the check which the Intuit qbXML SDK currently doesn't allow us to do.
It's now confirmed that support for CheckMod will be available in the USA Editions of QuickBooks 2007. Sorry.
See: QuickBooks SDK 6.0 for U.S. editions of QuickBooks 2007 for more information. |
