What version would we need ? |

This is what we want to do.
One person will be creating reports using crystal reports from our quickbooks pro 2006 database. Our company file resides on a server on our domain based network which is accessed using the multiuser version of QB pro 2006. In these reports we will also be pulling in data from a MS SQL server database.
Would we need a single user desktop version or the server version ? I do not forsee a need for the webserver capability of the server version but a question was raised on needing it since we use an SQL database as well to create our reports.
Opinions on this ??
Thanks

You only require the QODBC Desktop editions for Crystal Reports Professional and Developer Editions. If you need to use the Crystal Reports Server Edition or access the QODBC linked tables from your MS SQL Server database, you would then need the QODBC Server Edition. |
