We are attempting to input invoice lines with the Sales Rep full name but are unable to do so. 

The table documentation for InvoiceLine says that the field is 5 Characters long which is the length of the Initials not the full name in the List Table for Sales Rep.  We are able to send the initals into the SalesRepRefFullName field on the Invoiceline table and get the results we want. 

However, I'm concerned that we could have more than one rep with identical initials.  Is there an error in the documentation or the program? If so, is there a fix or am I doing it all wrong??

I would hazard to guess that QuickBooks will not allow you to create two SalesRep with the same initials. You can use either SalesRepRefListID or SalesRepRefFullName:
